Breathing Space - Driving Inclusivity
1 in 5 people in the UK have a disabilty and 1 in 7 people are neurodivergent.
Most exhibitions aren't designed with that in mind. We're changing that with Breathing Spaces
Temporary spaces that support events to enhance the experiences for attendees, allowing supported access for people who may have not attended and supporting longer visits so attendees can access equal opportunities.
Making exhibitions more accessible and the experience better for everyone.
Sensory Booths
Adjustable blinds, dimmable coloured lighting, ear defenders or ear plugs and sensory packs, to support regulation of sensory overload.
Alpha-Stim Sessions
Free 20-min sessions utilising the Alpha-Stim Aid, a safe and effective cranial electrotherapy stimulator which has been clinically proven to treat anxiety and pain.
Allowing attendees to take a breather and relieve symptoms so they can extend their visit.
Accessible Seating
Busy rest areas and lack of accessible seating can make rest stops at events difficult for people with a disability or mobility difficulties.
Breathing space is designed to support attendees without them having to ask people if they can take a seat.
Supportive Accessories
Sensory packs, blade fuses, water bowls for guide dogs. sensory glasses, hearing aid batteries...all the little things that can support attendees visits and enhance their experience at events.
